Her job is entirely different from what I usually do, but she's been training me on and off for a while now, and it's mostly all common sense and laughing at stupid things lawyers do. So, yeah. I'll get to zone out with my iPod and copy some charts and I'll get 40 hours in this week.

Well, supposedly, three new Torchwood books were set to come out today. Actually, according to the Barnes&Noble website, they were set to come out on 6/25. But, on said website, it no longer even gives a 'Check Availability' option, nor does it show one of the books at all. And the two it does show don't have pictures with them.

Why is it so hard to find Torchwood books? -_-

[ZOMGRARW FUCKING LJ ATE MY POST D: ]

So, yeah. Had a blast this weekend with JL and Co.

Yesterday, she picked me upa nd we went to my family's 4th of July party at my Uncle's new house. Wherein most focus went to mocking JL's hat, shoes, and pigtails. We leaft there and after stopping at Starbucks, hit JL's families friends party. That was epic. We watched the others play a game of Taboo and ended up sucked in when some people left in the middle of teh game. We discovered that I am only good at giving clues that I can relate to JL. (What are you afraid of? Spiders! // Cute guy. Thanformers. Captain. Lennox. -- Army? Yes!) Lol. But then one guy, Rob, started playing guitar. And singing, and he was awesome. We ended up talking with him most of teh time we were there and he invited us to go to hsi house tonight to see the fireworks they shoot off over the water.

We stay a while, and end up going to see the fireworks that JL's family always sees. They're pretty awesome. From there, we came back to JL's and chilled for a bit, playing on computers and watching TV.

Today, after doing a return at Target and stopping at Kohl's to find a niceshirt for moi (as all I packed was a crappy t-shirt, as at the time I got my bag together, I was operating under the assumption that we'd be coming back to my place to swim and crash for the night) and lunch at Panera, we decided to attempt to make cookies. Attempt being teh operative word. Somehow, we failed. They came out totally flat. JL's sister made a hot milk cake instead (which, as it turns out, are Rob's favorite, and now he is marrying Elise xD). We chilled until it was time to go.

The house was awesome. Rob and his boyfriend Roy have sure decked it out well. It looks like it should be in a magazine or something. There's artwork everywhere, some that Rob painted himself. So amazing. After teh grand tour, we headed down to see Roy's boat docked in teh marina. We hung out on that for a bit and then headed back up to their condo for dessert. The fireworks were starting by the time we finished that and God, they were epic. Last like 25 minutes. Grand finale was amazing. Talked for a bit and tehn had to leave cause they had to get up early.

Now we're just playing on computers again. Going home tomorrow before JL goes to work. I'll post the next chapter of TioMS then. :3

On the way to a baseball game, Dad decided we were stopping at BestBuy to get a CD. He wouldn't tell me who it was, despite my strategic and stealthy prodding. He goes in, buys a CD by Parachute - a band he heard on some TV show or something. He says I'll like them. They sound kinda like Matt Nathanson.

He plays a song. I say 'They don't sound like Matt, they sound like Sparky's Flaw.' Sparky's Flaw being a band that opened for Graham Colton at a concert last year.

I look at the CD case, recognize several of the song names, change it to one of the ones I recognize. And I can sing the entire song because I have it on my iTunes.

'Dad. This is Sparky's Flaw.'

'What? No it's not.'

'What's the main guys name?'

'Will.'

'It's Sparky's Flaw.They must have changed their name.'

'... ... ... I've been Para-Flaw'ed.'

On my last day in my last week of normal and not pathetically few working hours, they tried to kill me. Mom didn't work. It was just me and one other person. Who.... is really slow at assembly.

We had 76 charts.

Normally we're somewhere between 45-60. I think the highest it's ever been was like 80. I did most of them. My co-worker took like 5 of them while I was on the floors fetching more. She hadn't started when I got back. I did 22 charts and went back to the floors again before she finished hers. =.=

Barring unforeseen circumstances (i.e. certain people calling out which gives me their hours at last minute's notice) I have no work til Friday.

Well, damn. My hours got temporarily cut at work. Normally I work 24 a week. Until further notice I work 8 a week. Aside from one week in July when I work 40 straight to cover a job no one else knows how to do. Fuck. This sucks.

On the plus side, Dell is hopefully coming sometime this week to replace my epically failing keyboard.

Also, I hate going to the eye doctor. We had to go to a new one today. I think I seriously shocked the lady evaluating me with how bad my vision is. I handed her my glasses to check and all she said was '...wow.' I fucking hate the stupid 'which is better, this or this?' game. it drives me up the wall. Especially on my left eye, since all I can even do is guess with that one. Then they like blind you with numbing drops and dialating drops. My eyes still feel weird.

So, I was browsing around in GameStop while Zach was buying something on Saturday. Amazingly - as every other time I've even thought about looking, no one ever has them - they had one of the Pheonix Wright games that I keep hearing so much about. The first one. Which was all the more awesome.

I was up til 5am last night playing, got up at 10. Went to three more GameStops looking for any of the other games. Found Justice For All.

Came home, went back to playing the first one. I was in the middle of the 4th case. Finished that now. Starting the last case for that game in the AM.

And I will admit to jumping on the Pheonix/Edgeworth bandwagon. However small that badwagon must be given the distinct lack of fic.

So, I'm working on this really cool drawing. Only... i've gotten through nearly all of it and.... hit the hard part. Normally, I can't draw people at all. today I've managed to get through two bodies. The hands look kind of goofy, but, hey whatever. Heads, however, I totally fail at. Especially since I'm not only to draw a face, but also because I intend to change whose face it is and the angle at which it is at as opposed to the pic I'm looking at as I go here. Guh. I -will- finish this. Jason and Spinelli, why must you be so hard to draw? D:

ETA: Got Jason done. Just spent 15 minutes lookig for a clip that I thought showed Spinelli's hair doing what I need it to (obeying gravity) but it didn't. So now, I'm just winging it.

So, summer's going well. Spent the weekend at JL's. saw Star Trek on Saturday with Zach and Ryan before that. Twas awesome. I spent most of the movie trying to figure out who Kirk was. For a while I thought it was Michael Weatherly from NCIS, but his eyes didn't match. Got home and figured out that it was Chris Pine. He looks waaaaay different from the other stuff I've seen him in. <3

No concerts this month. But I have 3 between July and August.

Dreams are fucking weird. I decided that, since I'd had to get up relatively early to go to the dentist this morning (and I may have stayed up a bit - okay, a lot - later than I intended to last night) that I'd take a nap before work. In an hour and half, mybrain concocted some Primeval meets Criminal Minds-esque plot. There was some sort of serial killer/stalker guy running around killing everyone around. And there was some batshit insane/massivelyOCD lady barking orders. She had a kid, a boy, who was probably doomed to a miserable life as a result, but i can't recall much of his purpose in the dream anymore (this being teh second time i'm typing it and all). I was doing something in response to the crazy lady barking orders at me - something in a car, i think - and some weird Primeval-Anomaly like thing appeared. Only it was like neon orange and it shot like... Sims PlumbBobs out of it. It was weird. The two things - serial killer and crazy lady - seemed to be occuring at the same time, but they weren't affecting each other at all. My subconscious comes up with some crazy shit.

4. He's a good singer, which, granted, is irrelevant to this video.
5. I actually understand WTF he's talking about.

Had to rearrange my room. My stupid desk fell out of the wall, which was the reasoning for the moving. Then my bookshelf malfunctioned while we were moving it so we had to pause in the moving to fix that. Then I cut my hand on some nail somewhere, I'm not even actually sure what i did it on. But, fuck, it hurts. My ring keeps rubbing against it. Then we rearranged all my posters and CSI puzzles. Fun times that is. My walls look like swiss cheese.
