So, I got trained for job number 8463 tonight at work. I am now certified and mostly trained to go up to the floors and do Birth Certificate paperwork - going through the charts and interviewing the parents for any other information. I consider this an interesting new assignment for Friday nights.

Supposedly starting at noon tomorrow we're going to be hit with Snowpocalypse: The Sequel, possibly adding another 12-20 inches to our already substantial compilation. That'll be fun. I hope I hope I hope school is closed again on Wednesday. It would suck otherwise.

I'm almost done a new GH fic and I am fighting hard to keep from writing Cousland/Zevran fic. I have resisted thus far. At least consciously - I'm fairly certain I had a dream last night that involved Zevran being blamed for taking the Great Agra Treasure of Sherlock Holmes 'Sign of Four' so my subconscious may need some more convincing. *shakes head*

Well wishes to Bradford Anderson, as well, who had surgery today for the Achilles tendon he tore during the SoapCruise thingy. D: Poor guy. Though I am curious as to how it will be explained on the show.

So, after still hearing nothing from Frostburg with regards to my application, I called. Again. I called last week as well - they said everything was accounted for and that I'd hear something within the next few weeks. However, when I called today, I was told that they'd never received my transcripts (which I requested way back on Dec 16th) from CCBC. Which means they can't do anything with my application until they get them. WHAT THE FUCK? They had them last week, supposedly. Or else whatever fucking idiot answered the phone (and trust me, I've had conversations with several fucking idiots who work with Admissions) thought the printed copy I brought along when I applied was like... official. Yeah. Cause those look so much alike. So, I spent 30 minutes looking for the phone number for Records & Registration for my school, finally got through. They said that they would resend my transcripts, but the paper I turned in back in December was apparently nowhere to be found. Gah. Why, why, can't anything I do go smoothly? It's not like I have a back-up plan here. It's Frostburg or I'm in trouble.

Also, damn it. Every other school/college in the area (quite possibly the state) was at least 2 hours late. Except ours. Why? Apparently, our Dean is from like Michigan or something and what we got last night (4-6'' or so) earned a response of '...what snow?'

So, I had time to kill before work one day and went down to see what Zach was playing. He was playing Dragon Age: Origins, at which point he was like 'Oh, hey, I have to show you the gay sex thing.' '...What?'

Apparently, in the game, you can seduce (though there is argument over who is doing the seducing) the elf, Zevran, that you apparently refuse to kill. He joins your party and at some point, this can occur:



And, from further research (and I might just have to watch my brother actually play this game through) your character can also end up pretty much engaged to Zevran.

So, I'm still waiting on word from Frostburg *bites nails* I just want to know. And I'm getting tired of Dad making fun of me for asking after the mail's arrival on a daily basis. I'm glad he finds it funny.

Saw Sherlock Holmes (again) on Sunday night with kismekilmeluvme and bigshineeshinki after we all hung out. Watched Silent Hill for the first time ever, too. Interesting flick that was.

Saw The Lovely Bones today with Mom while Dad & Zach saw The Book of Eli. Personally, I think they got the better movie. I should probably read the book, though, before I form a real opinion. As if it is not falling further and further back in my list of books read (of which 3 more will be added tomorrow). Might also go and see Legion on Friday. Cannot wait (even if it means getting teased by Dad about liking Paul Bettany (he does not understand my actor-loyalty)).

This is my last week of vacation before it's back to classes. Gonna be a shock to the system being up at 7 on MWF's. O.o On the other hand, Zombieland comes out next Tuesday... *grins*

Second of all, blargh. Had to go buy books for next semester. Man, that is a depressing time of break. In both spirit and on my wallet. Yeouch. Did do it early enough to get most stuff used. Still have to hunt down my bro's English book, they hadn't gotten it in yet.

Plus, now I have him playing Saw for me since I suck at videogames - especially actiony/fighty/yourlifedependsonrunningawaynow games. Which is most of what Saw is. I do the lockpick challanges. That's about it. :3 It's a good arrangement. And being the goofy Leigh/James obsessed fangirl that I am, I solved one challenge because they used Adam's last name. :3 If those boys hadn't written the game, I wouldn't have touched it.
